Karadaiyan Nombu Karadaiyan Nombu is a fast observed by Tamil women for the longevity and well fare of their husbands. Even the unmarried girls observe this fast. It is performed when the month Maasi ends and before the month Panguni starts. Women keep fast for the whole day from sun rise on the last day of Maasi month and do puja and tie the thread before the month Panguni starts.
